About The Position

We are seeking a Finance Manager to own day-to-day financial operations at Goodfire as we experience a period of rapid growth. You will be responsible for supporting monthly and quarterly reporting, owning our financial models, and building the infrastructure to scale our finance function. The role spans the full spectrum from heads-down operational work to assisting with fundraising and capital allocation decisions. You’ll need to be able to work hard and move fast.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or financial operations - ideally at a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (CPA or accounting background a plus, but not required if you’ve developed equivalent expertise)
• Technical competency. You should be comfortable engaging with engineering and infrastructure concepts, including compute cost dynamics

Responsibilities

• Financial planning and analysis - own and maintain our financial models, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide strategic analysis to inform decisions.
• Payments and AP/AR - own all payments processing, vendor management, invoicing, and collections.
• Reporting and metrics - build dashboards and reporting infrastructure to provide leadership with visibility into financial performance.
