About The Position

Ron Tonkin Chevrolet has been servicing the Portland Metro’s automotive needs for almost 70 years running! We are actively expanding our management team and are hiring a Finance Manager (F&I Specialist) for immediate hire. Our Finance Managers are the final point of contact in the sales process, ensuring our customers receive the best protection and financing options for their investment. This position has a high-volume workload but is very rewarding to those who can keep up! The ideal candidate has a strong background in automotive finance, a deep understanding of lender relations, and a commitment to ethical business practices.

Requirements

2+ years of prior experience as an Automotive Finance Manager (F&I).
Proven track record of maintaining high PVR averages and strong customer satisfaction (CSI) scores.
Expertise in Prime and Sub-prime lending and a thorough understanding of dealership CRM and DMS systems.
Driver’s License.
Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the customer's vehicle purchase by securing competitive financing and lease programs from our network of lenders.
Prospect, qualify, and present a comprehensive menu of voluntary protection products, including extended warranties, GAP insurance, and maintenance plans.
Ensure every deal is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining meticulous accuracy in all legal and financial documentation.
Work closely with the sales team to maintain high CIT (Contracts in Transit) standards and ensure a smooth transition from the showroom floor to the F&I office.
