Finance Manager – JLL Location: Hybrid – This position requires proximity to and regular presence at the JLL Westmont, IL office. Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Westmont, IL. What this job involves: This Finance Manager position within our Westmont Work Dynamics hub offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations across multiple Facilities Management client accounts. You'll serve as the strategic finance partner to client account teams, driving financial planning, reporting, and business insights that support operational excellence. Working as an integral member of our collaborative hub team, you'll build strong relationships with Account Directors and client leadership while ensuring financial integrity and process excellence. This hybrid role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on oversight of budget cycles, monthly close processes, and client deliverables. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 10-15 years of progressive, relevant finance and accounting experience in corporate or client services environments.
  • Proven supervisory or team management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop finance professionals.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with high attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to manipulate data, create complex models, and deliver executive-level presentations.
  • Deep understanding of and commitment to client service excellence, with ability to build trusted advisor relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and audit standards, with demonstrated experience ensuring compliance across complex, multi-client environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights for diverse audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and/or CPA certification demonstrating advanced financial expertise and professional commitment.
  • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) General Ledger system or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
  • Previous experience in facilities management, corporate real estate services, or professional services industry with exposure to multi-client account structures.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements, developing new reporting tools, or leading finance transformation initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of Master Services Agreements, contract compliance, and client billing processes in outsourced services environments.
  • Experience with financial system interfaces, automated reconciliation tools, and data integration processes between client and service provider systems.
  • Collaborative working style with proven ability to thrive in diverse, fast-paced, team-oriented professional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities across multiple client accounts, ensuring accuracy of financial results and seamless reconciliation with client billing systems.
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for assigned client account teams, developing strategic partnerships with Account Directors, leadership teams, and client stakeholders to drive business performance.
  • Manage annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, providing guidance and serving as key resource to site operations personnel throughout planning cycles.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly financial packages and performance metrics to account and client personnel, ensuring timely and accurate reporting that drives decision-making.
  • Oversee compliance with Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and related contract terms, while maintaining deep technical knowledge of all finance and accounting systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and new planning tools.
  • Manage corporate finance responsibilities including JLL P&L budgeting, income statement monitoring, receivables tracking, and quarterly revenue attestation to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal audit standards.
  • Execute special projects and additional functions as required, bringing financial expertise to support broader business objectives and client needs.
