Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: Previous experience as an Automotive Finance Manager is required, with a strong understanding of prime and subprime lending.
  • Ethical Leadership: A reputation for integrity and a commitment to transparent "Subaru-style" selling.
  • Tech Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of dealership DMS (e.g., CDK or Reynolds) and menu-selling software.
  • Exceptional Communication: The ability to explain complex financial terms in a way that is easy for customers to understand.
  • Corporate Requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Solutions: Coordinate with lending institutions to secure competitive rates and terms for our diverse customer base.
  • Product Presentation: Clearly explain and offer extended service contracts, GAP protection, and other ancillary products that add genuine value to the Subaru ownership experience.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all federal, state, and local regulations are met, maintaining impeccable deal jackets and documentation.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Managers and Consultants to ensure a smooth transition from the showroom floor to the finance office.
  • Customer Advocacy: Maintain high CSI (Customer Service Index) scores by providing a professional, efficient, and stress-free closing process.
