About The Position

Overview We turn data into action for senior leadership, delivering the financial insights and strategic GTM frameworks that enable AI Business Solutions products to meet and exceed their 12–18-month growth goals. This role sits on the M365 GTM Finance & Strategy team and plays a critical role in how Microsoft defines, measures, and accelerates M365 commercial growth. The impact of this role is tangible as it feeds directly into the M365 Commercial Cloud KPI, a metric closely watched by both external investors and Microsoft's senior leadership. Our AI Business Solutions Finance team partners across engineering, marketing, and sales to drive revenue and adoption of AI, Modern Work, and Business Application products. We bring analytical rigor, competitive context, and clear storytelling to inform strategic decisions and unlock growth. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building rigorous financial models, identifying patterns across complex datasets, and translating insights into clear executive narratives. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial models that quantify growth levers, scenario outcomes, and GTM decisions while clearly communicating business performance.
  • Drive sales pipeline analytics by building new pipeline views for senior leadership, connecting deal flow to revenue insights. Identify leading indicators, flag risks early, and support a data-driven business rhythm across the M365 portfolio.
  • Lead competitive and market intelligence by maintaining a strong pulse on the competitive landscape using internal and external data. Develop frameworks to assess competitive positioning and translate findings into actionable growth recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Drive process improvement and analytical rigor by identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve data quality, and automate recurring reporting across the M365 GTM Finance team with a particular emphasis on Agentic AI integration.
  • Serve as a proactive growth catalyst. Identify where the business has untapped opportunity and bring a point of view to senior stakeholders on how to act on it.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders. Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and finance leadership to align on KPIs and shape strategic priorities. Translate complex analysis into clear executive narratives that accelerate confident decision-making.
