Job Summary The Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records regarding payments to suppliers, lenders, and employees, process payments from clients, and hire, train, and support accounting staff members.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Business or other related field is required. Degree in Accounting is highly preferred.
  • Must have experience in company accounting, financial reporting and budgeting/financial compliance. 5 years’ experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience supervising an accounting staff, is required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP and SAP B1.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to operate under stressful situations (i.e., multiple deadlines, multiple customers, and different conditions and formats of data).
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent computer skills, including ability to easily use MS Office suite; ability to create, read and manipulate Excel spreadsheets at an Advanced level.
  • Ability to read, understand, analyze, negotiate and report on standard or complex information.
  • Proficient and excellent English communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Willingness to perform some overtime, weekend or Holiday work to meet the financial close deadlines as established by the HQ organization.
  • Proven organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Able to work without supervision. Occasionally, will work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs and across remote offices.
  • The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of creating queries on SQL Database is a plus.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, construction and/or industrial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy.
  • Oversee and perform accounting daily operations.
  • Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
  • Contract review
  • Manage and oversee Installer compliance
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data.
  • Set up and monitor accounting KPI's.
  • Regularly produce financial reports or statements.
  • Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Encourage other employees to adhere to standards.
  • Oversight and management of monthly cycle counts on inventory.
  • Perform and oversee annual audits.
  • Provide recommendations.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives.
  • Conduct special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor.
