About The Position

The Finance Manager role at TD is a hybrid position based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, focusing on comprehensive financial analysis, audits, and initiatives with a yearly time span. The role is accountable for conducting financial analysis and research to support functional goals and objectives, acting as an interface with Finance partners and external parties. The Finance Manager serves as a source of advice to senior management and may lead teams of specialists, undertaking complex projects that require seasoned business partner knowledge. The position requires innovative thinking to develop new solutions and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in finance.
  • Knowledge of Hyperion, Essbase, and Oracle is an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven track record in leading continuous improvement projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize issues.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis/research, reviews, and audits to support functional goals/objectives.
  • Act as an interface with Finance partners/leaders and external parties.
  • Serve as a source of advice to senior management in the field of specialty.
  • Lead teams of related specialists/experts.
  • Undertake and complete complex projects and initiatives.
  • Communicate difficult concepts and influence alignment across senior stakeholders.
  • Work autonomously as the lead and guide others within the area of expertise.
  • Formulate relevant and meaningful data analysis through comprehensive data visualization tools.
  • Lead the interpretation of complex business issues and generate insights.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies and financial plans.
