About The Position

The Finance Manager, Program Controls role at Raytheon is a critical position within the Advanced Electro-Optical and Infrared Systems product area. This onsite position supports the Advanced Tactical Pods and Niagara Falls franchises, focusing on financial management for various programs with significant investments. The role involves collaboration with functional leadership teams and program offices to ensure effective financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while also addressing risks that may impact project costs and schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Estimates at Completion (EACs).
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Familiarity with APEX/PRISM EV systems.
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
  • Ability to obtain Secret Security clearance and Special Access Programs (SAPs).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the government contractor industry with knowledge of government accounting (FAR, CAS) and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve.
  • Working knowledge of APEX, PRISM, and BW Reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely financial and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) analysis and forecasting.
  • Communicate and partner daily with Program Management and CAMs/IPTLs to support project planning and implementation.
  • Conduct financial planning for both short and long-range projects.
  • Perform variance analysis, data validation, and reporting.
  • Develop Estimates-at-Completion (EAC) and support proposal development and customer negotiations.
  • Identify and assess risks that could impact cost and schedule, providing proactive financial analysis.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and meet critical deadlines.
