About The Position

The Finance Manager for North America Operations FP&A at Amazon will lead financial planning and analysis activities for the rapidly expanding internal delivery operation. This role involves ownership of headcount management, financial oversight, and performance reviews, providing insightful analysis and decision support in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to high-visibility projects supporting senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field
• 5+ years of finance experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of finance experience

Nice To Haves

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Responsibilities

• Partner across Finance and Operations to drive continuous improvement in financial planning and operational performance
• Manage and lead HC Management for a key Operations business line owning optimal resourcing strategy, planning and close processes
• Gather, review, and communicate holistic systems and tools assessment which drive time-savings solutions
• Provide support for dive deep analytical projects and executive reviews as needed
