About The Position

The Manager, Sports Programming Finance will report to the VP Finance and work as a part of the Sports Programming Finance team which includes tentpole properties including Sunday Night Football, NBA, PGA Tour, Big 10, Premiere League, The US Open, Ryder Cup, and Notre Dame Football. This role will manage budgets, forecasts, P&Ls, and collaborate with teams across NBCU.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in finance/accounting or related field
• 5+ years relevant experience in finance/accounting, prior FP&A experience preferred
• Proficient in use of SAP/BW/BPC or similar accounting software
• Proficient in Windows environment; Advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with internal finance teams to drive end-to-end financial ownership of programming content
• Lead internal programming finance processes, including pacing updates (2-3 times per quarter), including consolidation and variance analysis
• Collaborate with senior leaders in Programming and Production as a strategic finance partner, aligning cross-business initiatives to optimize budget planning, and support financial target achievement
• Coordinate with the Controllership team to ensure accurate accounting
• Provide ad-hoc financial support for NBC programming initiatives
• Support monthly and quarterly close process including variance analysis, management reporting and summaries
