About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in a demanding high-level office environment.
  • Proficient computer skills with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of business, budgeting, accounting, and bookkeeping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and human relations skills.
  • Report preparation skills and project coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the direction and administration of the school's tuition/business offices.
  • Manage day-to-day standard accounting and clerical duties in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Analyze financial activities and provide advice to upper management on future financial plans.
  • Supervise bookkeeping staff and ensure financial accounts are reconciled and balanced.
  • Utilize accounting software systems such as Gradelink and Power Schools.
  • Reconcile and process monthly health benefit bills.
  • Provide accounting and payroll reports upon request.
