About The Position

As the Finance Manager for Best Buy Business (BBY Business) & Best Buy Customer Care (BBCC) you’ll provide strategic and tactical support across all aspects of financial planning & analysis for BBY Business and BBCC. To do this you’ll provide leadership, oversight, and direction in an inclusive team environment for a group of Sr. Financial Analysts and Financial Analysts. You’ll act as a strategic thought partner to BBY Business & BBCC leaders, drive scalable finance transformation, and elevate team capability through inclusive, high‑accountability leadership. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at the Best Buy Corporate office and some days virtually from home. What you’ll do : Understand and execute business strategy and integrate it with individual and team priorities. Identify future impacts across operational areas and influence change. Create optionality, by framing risks, opportunities, tradeoffs, and investment asks in a way that business leaders can act on. Set timely and clear work direction for the team, ensure clarity of responsibilities, decision rights, accountability, and outcomes. Lead through ambiguity and transition (systems, org, operating model) Improve quality of insight while reducing cycle time Develop, coach, and empower others; builds bench strength.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive work experience in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, economics, business or related field
  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience
  • MBA, CPA, other certification, or advanced degree
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically, build consensus, advocate, anticipate problems and solutions, and work with business partners
