About The Position

Palo Alto Networks has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Finance Manager professional to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Cortex & Cloud Finance and work with the Cortex & Cloud Finance Team and business partners to help build and deliver on our financial plans, support strategic decision-making, provide financial insight, and help build operational rigor and efficiency. This individual will also partner with Theater and Central Finance teams, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations on a regular basis. Being successful in this role requires a strong analytical ability, excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to support/enable process improvement and insights across all the key FP&A areas.

Requirements

  • 7+ years related experience showing strong career progression, with prior Corporate FP&A experience and/or familiarity with US GAAP revenue standards for technology companies/SAAS companies.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC-606 required.
  • Ability to link big picture to details with ease.
  • Experience with ARR, MRR, SaaS Metrics, Bookings, Renewals.
  • Familiarity in managing large datasets, applying relevant statistical frameworks and concepts, and deriving executive-level insights.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to rapid business and organizational changes in a high-growth environment.
  • Independent with enthusiasm for solving unstructured questions and providing thought leadership.
  • Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite, SAP, and Tableau; Pigment experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor degree in Economics/Business/Finance or related field or equivalent military experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop SaaS metrics, refining existing and designing new KPIs to analyze trends and changes versus industry benchmarks.
  • Own key Cortex & Cloud financial metrics, including ARR, Bookings, Revenue, Margins, Renewal rate, Customer Lifetime Value, and build financial models in Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau or other systems.
  • Architect visual presentations for monthly and quarterly performance review decks and custom business presentations to senior management.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations through data analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve metrics alignment, consistency, data integrity, and automation.

Benefits

  • Compensation between $150,000 - $175,000/YR depending on qualifications, experience, and work location.
  • Offered compensation may include restricted stock units and a bonus.
