About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Finance Manager DPS Network & SI&D to be located in Titusville, NJ or Raritan, NJ. The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to Network Strategy, and Innovation & Deployment leaders and project managers, interacting with multiple US and OUS locations. This critical role will report to the DPS Network and Strategic Programs (SI&D) Senior Finance Manager. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting required.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing processes / tools in a global organization.
  • Driven to achieve results and demonstrating hands-on approach.
  • Experience leading project timelines and milestones in complex business environments.
  • Demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Pro-active in connecting and energized to collaborate across functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently present complex information.
  • This position may require up to 10% travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degrees / certifications such as a CPA, CMA, PMP or MBA / Master’s are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Project Governance & Compliance: Lead discussion and processes with Project Managers to ensure adherence of project costs vs plan and develop accurate financial forecast
  • Develop financial model and scenarios to assess business cases like Cash Flow analysis (NPV, IRR) and P&L forecasts
  • Ensure all project accounting and reporting activities are in line with compliance requirements
  • Ensure adherence to financial processes, controls and targets in order to deliver the overall program applying J&J procedures and best accounting practices.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate on financial planning activities following Franchise calendars and processes.
  • Assist in developing and communicating detailed project budgets, analysis and executive summary projections to senior leadership.
  • Lead discussions on identifying and presenting critical insights regarding project goals, opportunities & risks and mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Build strong cross-functional and cross-franchise partnerships across all levels within Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, R&D, Marketing and Commercial to collect and challenge assumptions, model scenario implications and influence business decisions.
  • Project Execution: Critical role on defining, optimizing and gaining alignment for the future-state finance operating model and tactical execution roadmap.
  • Assist in driving the prioritization and implementation of financial processes and systems to enable Day 1 and ongoing site business activities.
  • Staff management and leadership This role has three direct reports
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support to assist employees reach their full potential through the performance management and talent development process
