Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Finance Manager - Corporate Functions. This position is based at our North American HQ in Beachwood, OH. If candidates are not located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH relocation assistance will be provided. This position will work on a hybrid schedule from Beachwood, OH. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you’ll do: The Finance Manager - Corporate Functions will help lead planning and reporting activities for Global Functional budgeting, as well as work as a business partner toward the Finance, HR, Legal, CEO, and Regional Management Functions within Corporate. In addition, this role will also help lead reporting and forecasting support for total Corporate costs of ~$1B. Lastly, this role will be a key member driving forecasting and reporting activities related to global multi-year restructuring programs and related acquisition and divestiture activities across all reporting segments of operations and corporate. In this function you will: • Drive financial results and identify key drivers of variances in the forecast as a key business partner to senior management. This includes identifying, researching, and providing comments on variances to forecast and to full-year profit plan for corporate functions that are included in the reporting package to senior management. • Provide insightful and actionable reporting, analysis and recommendations to budget owners, senior leaders and stakeholders, based on data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and business acumen. Lend accounting expertise, provide interpretation of accounting policies and application of forecasting policies and procedures. • Manage the profit planning process including the preparation of annual profit plan to be presented to the Chairman and Chief Executive Office, coordinating allocations and guidance to operations. • Drive process standardization; including development and implementation of process improvements and digitalization efforts • Support ad hoc finance projects and develop fact based recommendations to assist senior leadership in making informed business decisions. • Develop tools and reports to help analyze actuals, forecast and profit plan. Identify potential areas of risk and opportunities to senior management to drive business results and goals. • Manage the day to day activities; partnering with global corporate functions to understand budgets and ensure consistent application of accounting and forecasting policies and procedures.
