About The Position

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, and tax-related matters for the U.S. and Canadian entities. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with strong closing experience, in-depth knowledge of ERP systems, external audits, and local tax regulations, as well as a solid understanding of how finance interacts with sales operations, logistics flows, and overall business processes. Financial Closing & Reporting Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and year-end financial closings for U.S. and Canadian entities Oversee logistics closing, expense accruals, statutory accounting, and external audit processes Prepare and deliver internal financial closing reports to headquarters Balance Sheet & Financial Integrity Ensure the soundness and integrity of balance sheet accounts, including assets, liabilities, and equity Monitor and manage key financial risks and accounting issues impacting the entities HQ Coordination Act as the primary owner to follow up and manage finance-related issues raised by HQ Ensure timely resolution and clear communication on all major financial matters Tax Compliance Oversee all tax filings and payments for U.S. and Canadian entities Serve as the main point of contact with local tax authorities Coordinate tax-related matters with external tax advisors and auditors External Partners Management Manage and effectively utilize external accounting firms and selected law firms supporting the U.S. and Canadian entities Coordinate audits, tax reviews, and other professional engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in accounting and/or finance
  • Proven expertise in month-end, quarter-end, semi-annual, and year-end closing using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in: External audits
  • Corporate tax compliance and general tax laws applicable to legal entities
  • Solid understanding of cross-functional business processes, including sales support, logistics flows, and their direct and indirect financial impacts
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with HQ, external auditors, tax authorities, and professional service firms

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the distribution and/or service industry is strongly preferred
