  • Serve as the key business partner working directly with engineering, automation teams, and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations.
  • Report monthly financial and operating metrics.
  • Manage the financial planning process, including modeling, analyzing, and forecasting metrics that drive budgeting and business decisions.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
  • Analyze business results for key takeaways to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes to support the fast-growing AWS business.
  • Prepare detailed financial models for business segments, driving business initiatives and identifying operational efficiencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in multiple finance and accounting roles.
  • 4+ years of experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
  • 4+ years of experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL and experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools.
  • Experience with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards.
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
