What the day will look like As an intern in Aon’s Finance organization, you’ll gain accelerated learning and career development through hands-on experience in one of our Finance functions, such as: Controllership, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Corporate Sustainability, or Corporate Planning and Analytics. You’ll be part of Aon’s Finance Development Career Rotational Program talent pipeline. After the internship ends successfully, you may be considered for this Program. How will you make an impact in this role? As a Finance Intern at Aon, you will: Support business units in achieving financial and operational objectives Develop an understanding of key business drivers, performance metrics, and financial processes Assist with reporting, analysis, process improvement, and a real-business-impact project Support preparation of financial analyses and statutory reports at month-end and quarter-end Collaborate with team members and partners to drive positive outcomes How this opportunity is different Participate in Aon’s 10‑week Summer Internship Program and Development Curriculum, including the Aon United Impact Project. A collaborative intern initiative focused on topics such as AI and emerging technologies, ESG and sustainability, inclusion and wellbeing, and career development culminating in a team presentation that connects your ideas to the Aon Story and our colleague and client experience. Requirements

  • Analytical Skills – strong quantitative abilities; comfortable working with large data sets, spotting trends, and drawing relevant, actionable insights
  • Communication Skills – strong written and verbal communication; able to synthesize data into a clear, easy‑to-understand story and tailor key messages for different audiences
  • Agile Approach – positive, can‑do attitude with the ability to adapt to change, work through ambiguity, and operate as a highly motivated self‑starter
  • Leadership – proven leadership or initiative in academic, extracurricular, or work settings; acts and leads with courage, builds relationships, makes timely decisions, and influences change
  • Professionalism & Presence – high interpersonal awareness and emerging executive presence, with professionalism, poise, and confidence when interacting with others.
  • Results Orientation – goal-focused approach with an emphasis on taking initiative, follow-through, and a strong work ethic.
  • Technical Skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required; programming/coding skills are a plus
  • Rising seniors graduating between Spring 2026 – Spring 2027 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
