About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to support our finance team in enhancing reporting, analytics, and automation capabilities. This role will play a key part in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and improving existing Excel-based reporting tools to drive better business insights and decision-making.

The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and visualization tools.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas; Power Query is a plus).
• Basic familiarity with Power BI (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Power BI: data modeling, DAX, or dashboard creation.
• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Power Query, VBA/macros, Power Automate).
• Understanding of basic financial statements and corporate finance concepts.
• Comfort working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, including data modeling, DAX measures, and visual layout.
• Update and streamline existing financial reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readability.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and ad hoc reporting needs.
• Enhance and automate current Excel-based financial models, including use of formulas, Power Query, and macros (if applicable).
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort across reporting cycles.
• Document new and improved processes for repeatability.
• Assist with data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation for reporting datasets.
• Work closely with finance team members to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with Client and Solution Centers to gather requirements and refine dashboards or reports.
• Learn and apply best practices in data visualization, automation, and financial analytics.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process optimization.
