About The Position

Brunswick Corporation is seeking a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to join our Corporate Finance team for an 8-10 week summer internship. This project-based role offers hands-on experience supporting a strategic finance initiative while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. As the world's leading recreational marine company, Brunswick is home to iconic and trusted brands like Mercury Marine, Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, and Freedom Boat Club. From award-winning engines to cutting-edge marine technology, we're redefining the future of boating through bold innovation and unforgettable on-water experiences. Interns will be assigned a dedicated finance project in the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Treasury and Cash Flow Management, Product Costing and Manufacturing Finance, Internal Audit or Compliance, and Financial Systems and Process Optimization. Throughout the internship, you'll collaborate with experienced finance professionals, receive one-on-one mentorship, and grow your network through team events and cross-functional exposure. You'll wrap up the experience by presenting your project insights directly to senior leaders—giving you visibility, impact, and a chance to showcase your work.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.3, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A self-starter with intellectual curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work in a hybrid environment (onsite and remote).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Available for the full internship duration: mid-May to mid-August 2026.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or work experience in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or data analytics.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Exposure to ERP systems or financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, academic projects, or volunteer work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a defined finance project from initial scope to final presentation.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop financial models, dashboards, or reporting tools to generate business insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and validate assumptions.
  • Present project updates and final recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvement or automation initiatives within the finance function.
