You will be engaged in preparing and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing key financial information. Additionally, you will prepare daily and monthly financial reports, work with the fixed assets system, and assist with various financial functions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the financial operations within the company.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Performing account reconciliations and analysis of key financial information
• Preparing daily and monthly financial reports
• Working with fixed assets system and related accounting functions
• Compiling and analyzing accounts receivable data to ensure correct accountability and collection of funds
• Assisting with periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy and complete reconciliations
• Assisting Staff Accountant with various assignments
• Assisting/shadowing other financial areas (i.e., Payroll, AP, Revenue accounting, Planning & Analysis) to gain an understanding of the different functions and how they relate and intertwine with one another
• Assisting in sponsorship fulfillment
• Performing other related duties as assigned
