About The Position
We are looking for a Finance Intern to join our team for 10 weeks this summer (June 3rd to August 8th)! This role will report to the Senior Accountant and work closely with them in their day-to-day work to help support and manage all Finance needs. You will learn about how Giant Spoon’s Accounting and Finance department is structured and the various roles and responsibilities of our team, the accounting of an advertising agency (expenses, revenue and billing, job tracking), and advertising client financial management. As a Giant Spoon intern, you will be welcome to join any town halls, weekly updates, lunches and happy hours during the summer. As part of the program, we will also be offering a series of workshops and Q&As with craft leads to gain insights into the day to day of neighboring departments. This team is based in the New York office and works in a hybrid fashion with in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We are looking for candidates who can join us in NYC!
