Job Summary: The Finance intern gains hands-on experience with our finance team. This internship will work in cooperation with finance management to aid in the completion of day-to-day issues, as well as support projects as required. This position requires a motivated and excited individual working towards an applicable degree.

Requirements

• A student working on a degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• Investigatory and problem-solving skills
• Able to work with multiple different individuals and on numerous different teams
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Relatively proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Working towards an applicable degree
• High School diploma or GED
• Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
• With or without reasonable accommodation requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions.
• In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include: Hazards, tasks, PPE, ergonomic concerns, travel requirements, workspace (close proximity to others)
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Data entry and related procedures for Accounts Payable as needed (daily / weekly)
• Review or prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for support on a monthly basis
• Assist with daily cash reporting
• Input monthly forecast to ERP for consolidation
• Perform intercompany sales/receipts reconciliation in Excel
• Assist with departmental cost reporting on a monthly basis
• Ad hoc requests as required (e.g. asset tagging in facility)
