The Accounting Intern supports the Accounting and Finance team with day-to-day transactional, reporting, and administrative activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to general accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls while developing practical skills in a professional business environment. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice review, data entry, and filing Support payroll, expense reports, and reconciliations as assigned Help prepare and maintain journal entries, schedules, and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Organize and maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies Support audits by gathering requested documentation and schedules Perform basic financial analysis and reporting using Excel or accounting software Collaborate with accounting and finance team members on special projects Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
