About The Position

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.
• Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship or work experience in a business or finance-related role is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with financial reporting and analysis, including preparing and reviewing financial statements and variance reports.
• Supporting budget development and forecasting processes by gathering data and preparing preliminary analyses.
• Conducting research and analysis on financial trends, market conditions, and competitor performance to inform strategic decisions.
• Participating in month-end close procedures, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of financial models and dashboards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on special projects related to cost reduction, process improvement, or financial system enhancements.
• Performing data entry and maintaining financial records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Presenting findings and recommendations to the finance team and other stakeholders.
• Shadowing finance professionals to gain insight into various roles and career paths within the organization.
