Applications will be reviewed early Spring 2026. 2026 Summer Internship Program Dates: June 8th, 2026- August 14th, 2026 Global Revenue Royalty Operations - Royalty Accounting Group (Remote): How You’ll CREATE: Royalty Accounting Group handles all accounting functions for UMG's Royalty Department. Interacts with Central Accounting Services, Label Finance Teams, and various Royalty Teams (Artist, Copyright, Union, and Audit). There are 3 sub-divisions within Royalty Accounting Group. The goal is to have our intern work with all 3 teams. P&L Balance sheets UMG's merchandise royalties North America Finance - Commercial Services (Onsite: CA): How You’ll CREATE: This dynamic team drives the Finance and Planning functions across UMG’s Commercial Services division; including our third party distributed labels, UMG for Brands, eCommerce, Marketing and °1824 business units. This team is charged with strategic partner relations, including business reviews, historical trend analysis and forward-looking planning. Data consolidation Data analysis Invoicing/chargeback support North America Finance - US Compliance (Remote): How You’ll CREATE: The UMG US Compliance & Controls team supports our annual compliance program including but not limited to: internal control evaluation, design and documentation, walkthroughs, sample-based audit testing, remediation, results reporting and process improvements. Assist with control testing Update process flowcharts Update risk and control matrices (RCMs) Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed North America Finance - Finance & Planning (Onsite: CA): How You’ll CREATE: The North America Finance team consolidates the results of the Universal Music labels, providing guidance and analyzing performance for the North American territory. This position will interact closely with Universal Music label Finance teams and the Central Accounting team to support the monthly close processes, document variance explanations, and analyze results. The intern will be involved in the quarterly financial forecast and annual operating plan processes while also assisting with other ad hoc analyses as required. Provide day-to-day finance support to the North America Recorded Music Division and liaise with the Label Finance teams and Central Accounting team on key elements of the monthly close/forecasts Assist in preparation and assembly of quarterly financial forecasts and annual plan for UMG Analyze actual variances to budget and forecast for various Universal Music divisions Collect, analyze and report key performance indicators and highlight trends in margin, artist investment and cash flow Participate in developing forward looking revenue guidance for North America labels by analyzing industry trends, marketing data, DSP reporting as well as historical data Assist in analyzing and forecasting revenue accruals for the entire territory to ensure timely reporting with accuracy Develop KPIs/dashboards/presentations by synthesizing large datasets to consumable financial insights to senior executives Drive efficiency by identifying areas for system improvement/adoption as well as guiding continuous improvement efforts for financial analysis & reporting tools Provide ad hoc analyses as required Disclaimer: This job description only provides an overview of job responsibilities that are subject to change. Requirements
