About The Position

Our Corporate Accounting & Finance Department is looking for a driven Finance Intern. This position can be located at the Corporate Offices either in Onalaska, WI or DeForest, WI. Job Purpose: The intern will be responsible for pulling data from our general ledger and other Kwik Trip systems in order to provide real-time data driven analysis and insight into income and expense accounts across the enterprise. The person will work with all levels of management and non-management co-workers to analyze data to improve corporate profitability.

Requirements

Currently attending school for Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
Possess strong data analysis skills
Ability to read, understand, and interpret numbers
Accurate and detail orientated
Possess strong customer service skills
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet department deadlines
Possess strong organizational skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability to work well alone and as a team

Responsibilities

Design, enhance, and maintain measurement tools, KPI’s, dashboards, and reports
Gather, translate, and deliver technical information to stakeholders
Research, identify, and analyze income and expense data to identify opportunities for improvement
Develop efficient methods of data collection
