About The Position

Unique Vacations, Inc. -- an affiliate of the worldwide representative for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts -- is seeking a forward-thinking Finance Intern to join its remarkable Miami-based, in-house team for the summer of 2026. Unique Vacations, Inc. is an affiliate of the worldwide representative of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts. We provide exclusive, marketing, public relations, advertising, promotions, and creative services to showcase the Luxury Included experience, which guests have come to adore for 40 years and counting for Sandals & Beaches Resorts. When you do what you love, you will be empowered to create the future that you want! We offer a 12-week paid internship program, beginning May 18th, 2026 to August 6th, 2026. Our Future Forward Intern will help gain experience and exposure to international markets and clients. They will play a crucial role in promoting luxury Caribbean destinations and knowledge in business services to succeed in an organization. The 28 weekly hours for the program are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Unique Vacations is seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our team. This internship provides an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment where you'll be instrumental in crafting digital assets to promote our all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean.

Requirements

Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal English language communication and documentation skills.
The ability to work closely with stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.
Advanced technical skills and documentation skills.
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
High competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
A track record of following through on commitments.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required.
Creates a shared sense of direction and community among the team.
Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements.
Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.

Responsibilities

Process accounting transactions for our sister companies that include the functions of Accountings Receivable, Accounts Payable, Revenue and Expense.
Assist in the preparation of Financial Detail Reports for each Department.
Provide accounting support during the period and month-end closing.
Review current Excel reports and provide feedback on efficiency or better approaches.
Understand anticipated requirements and business norms, evaluate the financial flow of information to uncover areas for improvement.
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful analyses and reports.
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
Other duties as required.
