They will be under the direct supervision of the Integrated Business Process (IBP) Leader who will assign projects and tasks to support the finance department’s objective to support the company’s goals and outcomes. Participation will include but not be limited to participating in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) planning calls, forecasts, budget reviews, regular progress updates/reviews with your direct supervisor, and general finance team reviews. Toward the end of your internship, there will be an opportunity to present the outcome of your internship and project to the finance team. You will receive guidance and help in preparing for this presentation, but ultimately it will be your opportunity to own and stand out!

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or having equivalent experience related to the role
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Positive attitude and ability to deliver the highest caliber work
Organized and task oriented to allow for multitasking in various assignments
Ability to assess and provide creative solutions to the finance team
Ability to relocate as part of this position to be at the West Chester Corporate Headquarters
Pursuing an applicable bachelor’s degree
Proven record of academic success
Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite of products
Involvement in extracurricular activities on campus
Candidate would need to have access to a vehicle
Candidate would need to have access to a credit card

Responsibilities

Work within the finance team to support the IBP team in the areas of S&OP, productivity, continuous improvement, and procurement analytics as needed.
Develop an understanding of the different finance functions within the ClarkDietrich Buidling Systems organization by setting up 1:1s across all areas of finance. This will provide the candidate with an appreciation for the differences in the functions which help inform the candidates direction after graduation.
Develop an understanding of the other teams and organizations outside of finance and how they all work together to help the company meet their goals. This can be accomplished by setting up a 1:1 with a team member from the business or commercial side of the business. Help will be provided in identifying that person(s).
Completion of assigned project(s) from the finance team
Participation in meetings and calls to support the finance team
Presentation of a project, to be determined with your direct supervisor, to the finance leadership team
