Summer 2026 - Finance Intern
About The Position
STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months. This internship position offers the opportunity to learn and contribute to various aspects of finance, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will work closely with our finance team to support daily operations and assist in projects aimed at improving financial processes and decision-making.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.
- Prior internship or relevant work experience in finance.
- Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in financial analysis by collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and forecasts for management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering relevant information and inputting data into financial models.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Participate in meetings and discussions related to financial planning, performance, and strategy.
- Perform tasks and projects as assigned by the finance team.
