About The Position

The Finance/Accounting Intern will support the Finance Department at ASM Global's Stockton Managed Facilities, gaining hands-on experience in various accounting functions. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial activities, providing a comprehensive understanding of the finance and accounting processes within a leading venue management company.

Requirements

• Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting.
• Understanding of core accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to take initiative and ask for directions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Research, record, and reconcile daily bank transactions into the general ledger.
• Process accounts payable in compliance with the Association's policies and procedures.
• Complete all assigned monthly, quarterly, and year-end close tasks accurately and timely.
• Prepare financial reports and statements.
• Assist other departments with requests, including re-issuing and/or voiding checks.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

Benefits
