We are currently seeking a student interested in a Finance and Accounting internship opportunity located at our Propulsion Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI. The Turbo and Thermal Emissions Business Unit Finance and Accounting Intern is primarily responsible for assisting the TTT Reporting team with various projects and perform daily cross-functional job assignments as requested. Project Work: Bring creativity and new ways of thinking into BU FP&A with a focus on developing improvements to our forecasting and analysis tools to help the team improve efficiency and automation in everyday work. Specific projects will include business unit balance sheet synchronization, annual competitive market analysis/benchmarking and physical fixed asset inventory. All projects will provide the opportunity to participate in meetings with key stakeholders and obtain firsthand experience of collaborating with reporting units. Success Metrics: Display a willingness to learn. Learn from mistakes and contribute new ideas for efficiency and automation in daily finance activities. Participate actively in training sessions. Be willing to speak up asking questions and sharing ideas. Complete projects related to efficiency and automation improvements.

  • Must have availability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
