Corning's summer internship experience is rich with hands-on learning. You'll live, work, and experience the communities in which Corning operates, while building on-the-job skills. Interns are expected to deliver results against our business and financial objectives, applying knowledge and practices both independently and as a team. The purpose of the Finance Intern Program is to raise the bar on talent by strengthening our pipeline for entry level roles for immediate and future needs.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, and/or Finance or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint required.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge required.
  • Must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity.
  • Be willing to work at the posted job location.

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards a Master's degree in related area not required but desirable.
  • Certifications desirable (e.g. CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.).
  • Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt certification - a plus.
  • General cost and accounting knowledge.
  • Experience in a Finance/ Accounting with class or internship experience.
