About The Position
Battelle is seeking Finance Interns for Summer 2025, located in Columbus, Ohio. This internship is designed for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Operations Management, and is aimed at providing meaningful work assignments that are educational and relevant to the interns' career goals. Interns will be integrated into various finance groups within Battelle, including Pricing, Financial Support, Accounting, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, or Internal Audit. They will have the opportunity to learn about the methods, tasks, and objectives of these groups, gaining hands-on experience that mirrors the responsibilities of full-time employees. Interns will work closely with both senior and junior members of the finance teams to support Battelle's corporate finance initiatives. They will be tasked with completing financial duties that assist with Battelle's unique business structure as a not-for-profit, government contract research company. This role will also involve collaboration with other interns on departmental projects, as well as communicating results and progress to the project team through both written and oral communication.
