About The Position

As a Finance Intern, you will actively contribute to the Finance Team under the guidance of the Team Leader, gaining valuable firsthand experience. This includes conducting daily reconciliations, such as balancing teller cash and the Federal Reserve Account and generating other necessary daily reports. You will actively contribute to Accounts Payable functions, assisting in processing check payments and accurately recording debit card transactions. In addition, our FIRST Values apply to all teammates without exception.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or pursuing higher education in finance, accounting or business-related program preferred.
• Ability to work independently with supervision.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
• Demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, and solution-oriented skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Actively engaging in and contribute to various assigned projects and tasks.
• Assist with the daily balancing of teller cash and the Federal Reserve Account.
• Assist with balancing other daily reports as needed.
• Assist in processing check payments and recording debit card transactions.
• Participate in projects as assigned.
