About The Position

The Finance Intern (FP&A) position at Hubbell Incorporated is a 10 to 12-week internship program designed for students to gain corporate experience and learn about various aspects of the business. Interns will work on value-added projects, develop technical skills, and present their findings to local management at the end of the program. This role provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment while assisting with process improvements and managing multiple projects.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree related to the internship (required).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Apply skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to on-the-job experiences.
  • Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.

  • Build relationships and learn about other parts of the business for professional development.
  • Provide a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.

  • Work on challenging robust projects that provide practical experience.
  • Assist with process improvement.
  • Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
