About The Position
The Finance/Grants Specialist serves in a customer-facing, consultative role and is responsible for providing finance and grant support in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with all applicable institutional, UNL, State, and Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines. The Finance/Grants Specialist primarily executes and reviews routine and complex finance and pre- and post-award grant transactions. The Finance/Grants Specialist is a part of the Oldfather Business Cooperative. They will work closely with department administration and faculty within multiple units, as well as functional office staff, providing a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions. This position functions under limited supervision and is expected to utilize technology to provide professional services.
