About The Position
The DoD’s tremendous volume of interconnected contracts, invoicing, disbursing, general ledger, and trial balance data offer a tremendous opportunity to accomplish this goal at the enterprise level. As a Data Analyst, you will transform and consolidate these disparate data sets, building databases, reconciliations, metrics, dashboards, and applications to achieve data completeness and facilitate management decision-making. You’ll work closely with your customers to understand their challenges and requirements, digging into their data-rich environments to identify the key pieces of their contract reporting puzzles. You’ll lead stakeholder interviews and fact-finding efforts, develop business rules for customer data sets, and standardize reconciliations to support completeness validations. You’ll provide customers with structured solutions for responding to inquiries from internal stakeholders, the DoD Inspector General, independent public accountants, and others.
