Finance Administration & Customer Service Las Vegas, NV Walker Furniture JOB TITLE: Finance Coordinator/Cashier FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Front-Line Operations Reports to: Front Line Manager, Assistant Manager and/or Supervisor on Duty Work for a well-established family-owned company that is rapidly expanding! SUMMARY Responsible for ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and processing transactions efficiently. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Greet all customers and sales professionals in a friendly manner Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements. Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash at POS registers. Qualify customers for various finance options for payment. Ensure to review all orders with customers to maintain accuracy. Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention. Communicate Guest requests to management. All other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of basic financial terms Strong math skills with basic understanding of debits & credits Strong interpersonal and communication skills Enjoy working with the public Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced and occasionally high-stress environment Flexible schedule— must be available nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to learn new programs and systems easily Collections experience a plus (but not required in this position) Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Requirements MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Computer knowledge. The ability to type. High School Diploma or GED. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Most of the time is spent sitting, standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
