About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a financial analyst intern for the summer of 2025. This role involves analyzing financial data related to headcount, risks, threats, opportunities, and cost overruns/underruns within a specific product area. The intern will work with the Earned Value Management (EVM) cost system (COBRA) and adhere to EVM principles and processes as outlined in Program Performance Management (PPM) documentation. The position offers a blend of remote and on-site work, providing flexibility and a chance to gain valuable experience in the finance sector.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated extracurricular or leadership involvement.
• Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze headcount, risks, threats, opportunities, overruns, and underruns of a specific product area.
• Utilize reports and pull exports to import data for analysis.
• Work within the Earned Value Management (EVM) cost system (COBRA).
• Adhere to EVM principles and processes in accordance with Program Performance Management (PPM) documentation.
