About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a financial analyst intern for the summer of 2025. This role involves analyzing financial data related to headcount, risks, threats, opportunities, and cost management within a specific product area. The intern will work with the Earned Value Management (EVM) cost system and adhere to EVM principles and processes, contributing to program performance management documentation.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated extracurricular or leadership involvement.
• Proven ability to learn new skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx).
• Previous finance intern experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze headcount, risks, threats, opportunities, overruns, and underruns of a specific product area.
• Utilize reports and pull exports to import data for analysis.
• Work within the Earned Value Management (EVM) cost system (COBRA).
• Adhere to EVM principles and processes in accordance with Program Performance Management (PPM) documentation.
