This position is responsible for a team of cost control staff, executing and reporting multiple cost-plus and fixed price contracts with full Earned Value Management requirements for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Ensure the accurate reporting of program performance to internal and external customers Provide active direction to the team through the application of Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives Provide oversight and ensure compliance of all EVMS-related processes and command media Provide guidance to program finance leadership concerning business and financial processes and issues Work with prime customer and team members to develop financial reporting requirements as appropriate Manage the contract funding process and ensure that all funding notifications are provided to the customer in a timely manner Provide oversight to ensure that Company/Program financial objectives are achieved including annual Long Range Plans (LRP) financial goals Provide support and guidance to CAMs for the development and implementation of corrective action plans, variance explanations, and EAC Fully employ thorough knowledge and understanding of the FBM program efforts located at SWFPAC and inform management of areas for improvement. This person must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US citizenship required.

Requirements

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
  • Demonstrated formal or informal leadership experience
  • Expert understanding of Earned Value Management/ EVM or any similar or related tools
  • High analytical ability or degree of accuracy with numerical data
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with various levels of leadership
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment under minimal supervision
  • This position requires special access to support the program. This requires the applicant to be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Detailed understating of processes, procedures, and objectives utilized at government field sites
  • Experience with enterprise-level cost management tools
  • Familiarity with Cobra, SAP, and WEBi
  • Proven leadership in leading, motivating, and mentoring a diverse team of Program Finance professionals in a dynamic program environment
  • Possess an understanding of government contractor proposal/basis of estimate/estimating/contractual documents and requirements, and proactively research and provide recommended solutions to issues
  • Currently active Secret clearance
