About The Position

As a Finance Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for streamlining and optimizing financial processes through the implementation and management of automation solutions. You will work closely with finance and accounting teams to identify opportunities for automation, develop automation strategies, and oversee the implementation of automated solutions. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support and maintenance for automated processes to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2-4 years experience in finance automation, process improvement, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and processes.
• Experience with automation tools and technologies such as ERP systems, RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere), SQL, Python, and data analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in finance process improvement preferred.
• Insurance Industry designation(s) preferred.
• Experience with automation tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using financial software and tools such as ERP systems, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI, and data analytics platforms.
• Customize and configure automation tools to meet the specific needs and requirements of the finance function.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of automated processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Provide training and support to finance and accounting teams on the use of automated tools and processes.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of automated processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal disruption to finance operations.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in finance automation, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with IT and other cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Maintain documentation and documentation standards for automated processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
