About The Position
The Finance Associate will partner with a Senior Finance Associate in performing key tasks including, but not limited to, managing relationships with third party administrators for quarterly reporting and annual financial statement audits, reviewing quarterly management fee and carried interest calculations, cash flow management, capital calls, and cash and stock distributions. The role also involves reviewing and analyzing portfolio company financials in preparation for quarterly portfolio review meetings, working with the investment team in the preparation of quarterly portfolio company valuations, and responding to requests and inquiries from limited partners. Additionally, the Finance Associate will collaborate with Investor Relations in preparing presentation materials, information posted to the investor website, and fundraising documents. Understanding and documenting investment transactions, analyzing various fund activities to ensure compliance with partnership agreements, and working with the CFO and Senior Finance Associate on projects to enhance the product of the team, department, and firm are also key responsibilities. Other ad hoc responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
