Job Overview: The Program Finance Assistant provides essential financial and administrative support to the IRC Elisabeth program team. This role is primarily responsible for archiving and compiling complete supporting documentation for all D1 transactions on a daily basis. The Program Finance Assistant ensures that all client payment documents, tracking records, and P‑card reconciliation materials are accurate, complete, and properly stored in the designated voucher folders. In addition, the position supports core accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, reconciliation of reports, month‑end close activities, and preparation of adjusting journal entries. The Program Finance Assistant reports to the Finance Coordinator and is a key member of the three‑person finance team.
