About The Position

As a Finance and Equity Analyst at Carta, you will support the customer-facing process for 409A Valuations and assist with financial reporting inquiries. This role involves participating in operational improvements, providing feedback to engineering and product teams, and offering live support through phone and chat. You will engage in a twelve-month rotation across various parts of the Equity Platform, preparing valuations, advising customers, and aggregating financial statements for Venture Capital investors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial statements and common financial concepts.
• Ability to address finance-related and accounting questions clearly and concisely.
• Experience with multi-tasking and balancing multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with diplomacy and tact.

Responsibilities

• Support the customer-facing process for requesting 409A Valuations.
• Assist customers with low-complexity, high-volume financial reporting inquiries.
• Participate in discussions that drive operational improvements for the team.
• Provide feedback to engineering and product via testing, bug reporting, etc.
• Provide live channel support through phone and chat.
• Direct customers to the appropriate resources at Carta when discovering their needs.
