Oldcastle APG, Inc.'s 2026 Summer Internship Program is designed to provide a professional environment for undergraduate students to gain real-world experience at a global industry-leading manufacturer in the architectural products industry. The program will run from early June through early August and will provide exposure to valuable learning opportunities within the corporate functions of the organization through assignments, projects, and collaboration. This is the perfect opportunity for undergraduate students to apply their knowledge and creativity to a growth-oriented company with headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Our department covers multiple areas and disciplines of accounting and finance, including the monthly close process, lease accounting, financial reporting, financial systems and internal controls. This position will work closely with the teams and business leaders to assist with projects and tasks that will involve process improvement, financial analysis and decision support. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on self-starter with the desire to learn and contribute. Requirements

  • Students pursuing bachelor's degree Program in Junior year of College or Third year of University (Anticipated Graduation date of Fall 2026 or Spring 2027)
  • Concentration or Area of Study in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Ability to attend program hosted in Atlanta, GA
  • Excel experience and exposure to business analytics a plus
  • Highly personable and effective communicator
  • Solid values and high standards of ethics, integrity, and trust
  • Ability to take direction, ask questions, and receive feedback
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Strong willingness and desire to learn

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Accounting: Monthly journal entries, rollforwards and reconciliations. Actual vs. Budget reporting by department.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and report consolidated monthly financials and quarterly reporting and disclosures.
  • Lease Accounting: Processing of leases in Costar for lease accounting and reporting.
  • Financial Systems: Hierarchy maintenance and closing system modules.
  • Internal Controls: Inventory observations and internal audit reviews of company's control
