About The Position
Fifth Third Bank's Finance and Accounting Internship Program is a project-based, 10-week program designed for college students pursuing a career in finance or accounting. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the banking sector, specifically within the Cincinnati market. Interns will engage in a paid professional development experience that allows them to learn about Fifth Third Bank's business practices, operations, and procedures. The program aims to equip interns with the skills necessary to transition into permanent roles within commercial banking institutions. Eligible interns may also receive housing assistance during the internship period. Throughout the internship, participants will be responsible for managing risk and will be encouraged to share ideas, raise concerns, and adhere to company policies to protect the organization. A strong emphasis is placed on ethical behavior and ensuring a positive customer experience. Interns will analyze critical financial data to derive insights into key business trends, which is essential for their development as future leaders in the organization.
