  • Review and learn the organization's finance and accounting operation.
  • Work closely with multiple groups in various parts of finance and accounting.
  • Contribute to monthly accounting close cycle.
  • Demonstrate ability to apply analytical skillset.
  • Review, learn, document, and coordinate implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
  • Conform to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
  • Keep up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying areas where the person can contribute and share some workload from finance and accounting colleagues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Expected completion of Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting within the next 15 months.
  • Minimum cumulative college GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with accounting software, Deltek, a plus.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Some college or better in Accounting or related field.
  • Some college or better in Finance or related field.
