About The Position

The Finance Analyst position within the CBRE Global Institutional Debt Advisory Group involves contributing to live transactions, deal pitches, and client assignments. The role focuses on property-level financing for institutional investors across various asset classes and geographies. Key responsibilities include financial modeling, preparing marketing materials, conducting market research, and coordinating due diligence.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant real estate field (capital markets advisory, commercial real estate lending, banking, private equity, principal acquisitions, etc.)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Financial modeling experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret financial information
• Excellent attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university
• Prior related work experience strongly preferred
• Argus-certified preferred
• New York Real Estate Salesperson License preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth property underwriting and collateral assessment via financial modeling on all property types
• Assist in the preparation of marketing and pitch materials with various parties
• Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis for both client transactions and internal resources
• Assist in the marketing of financing opportunities with capital providers
• Help with negotiation and execution of financing transactions
• Coordinate due diligence and third-party reporting during all stages of a transaction
• Prepare internal and external presentations, reporting and analysis
